Space Art Contest

Each year we challenge students in grades 5-8 to create original drawings that depict various aspects of space. They are judged by representatives from NASA, Industry, and other Non-Profits that work with Title 1 schools. Themes range from what it would be like to live in space, Apollo’s 50thAnniversary celebration, and this past your year’s theme of “Better Together” astronaut badges. These badges will be flown to space and back on Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket and returned to awaiting students stamped Flown in Space. Here’s a look at some of the winning images we have had over the years.
